Based on more than two hundred thousands MAGSAT data(the latitude and longitude ranges of data are from 20°S to 60°N and 50°E to 160°E),the scalar and Vector magnetic anomaly maps for Asia are produced.In order to extract the lithospheric magnetic anomalies,the MAGSAT data were selected,the main magneticfield,magnetospheric,ionospheric and induction fields were corrected,and some unrealistic observed data were deleted.MAGSAT data were divided into dawn data set (06:00LT),dusk data set(18:00LT),dawn and dusk combined data set.The region studied is divided into cells,the size of cell is one degree in latitude and longitude.The value of the lithospheric magnetic anomalies at the center of each cell is taken as the mean values of the data falling Into the cell.According to the grid point values,the contour maps are produced.They include:1.The △X,△Y,△Z and △F magnetic anomaly maps derived from dawn data set only.2.The △X,△Y,△Zand △F magnetic anomaly maps derived from dusk data set only 3.The △X,△Y,△Zand△F magnetic anomaly maps derived using dawn and dusk combined data set.The contour interval is 2nT.The relationships between the magnetic anomalies and geological tectonics were analysed.
