Some remarks related to first 150 years of Maxwell's equations

The paper reviews physical, engineering and philosophical aspects of Maxwell's equations as tribute to 150th anniversary of their first publication. Physical interpretation, solution by using the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method and some views from the philosophy of science are discussed. Time reversal invariance of Maxwell's equations is also analyzed. Some illustrative computational examples are also given in the paper.
