DYNAMIC RECONFIGURATION (DR) OF DISTRIBUTION NETWORK WITH MULTI-TIME PERIODS

Basing on rule of continuous load profile, this paper proposes a new idea and its method of dynamic reconfiguration (DR) with multi-time periods in distribution network. DR can be solved by optimal problem. Objective function of DR can be the maximization of active energy savings or the minimization of active energy generated by sources during the whole time periods, constraints of DR can include operation numbers of some one switch and all switches in some sets, and et al. By using appropriate dynamic physical searching strategy, this paper can quickly obtains the relatively ideal solution. Hence, DR and its computation method completely overcome disadvantage of single-time-period static reconfiguration that can only be used in planning. DR can widely be used in operation, such as switch scheduling and online dispatching. Test systems show that continuous DR can schedule switches during the whole time periods with considering the relationship between switch operation cost and network loss reduction. Therefore, DR with high efficiencies supplies good conditions for off-line scheduling and on-line dispatching of switches in distribution network.
