Three phase quasi-Z-source inverter controlled by MicroLabBox system

In this paper the control system of a grid connected quasi-Z-Source inverter (qZSI) is described. The control system was implemented with the MicroLabBox development system, which was used for the first time for the realization of this kind of control system. The basic operating principle of the qZSI and the corresponding control system is given. Both the architecture and description of the MicroLabBox are included in this paper. The simulation model of the qZSI has been built as a co-simulation of MATLAB-Simulink and Simplorer. The laboratory setup has been built and the comparison between the experimental results and the simulation results is provided.
