Preprocessing method before image compression, adaptive motion estimation for improvement of image compression rate, and image data providing method for each image service type

PURPOSE: A preprocessing method which is performed before an image compression, an adaptability motion estimating method for improving an image compression rate, and an image data providing method for each image type are provided to improve a compression rate of an image by adaptively controlling a block size and the number of partitions according to the type of the image. CONSTITUTION: A preprocessing unit extracts multiple sample frames from an image (S401). The preprocessing unit calculates the minimum value of the error sum of each block which corresponds to a reference sample frame about each block which is included in an arbitrary current sample frame among the extracted sample frames (S403). The preprocessing unit generates an object for each area based on the distribution of the calculated minimum value (S404). The preprocessing unit calculates a motion reference value by tracing the motion of the object in the multiple sample frames (S405).
