The method for inserting/detecting a forensic mark using self reference code and peak position modulation and the apparatus thereof

PURPOSE: A method for inserting/detecting a digital forensic mark using a self reference code and a peak position modulation method is provided to increase the tenacity about a digital forensic mark transformation. CONSTITUTION: A frame fragmentation unit divides an original frame(S310). 3D wavelet conversion and sub band selection unit selects an optimal sub band(S320). A digital forensic mark and self reference code insertion unit inserts the modulated digital forensic mark and the self reference code into a sub band(S340). A 3D wavelet inverse conversion and a frame merging unit performs the merge of the fragmented frames and 3D wavelet reverse conversion about the frame in which the digital forensic mark and the self reference code are inserted(S350).
