Practice of Actual Project Driven Teaching Model on Software Engineering Major

Actual project driven teaching model is proposed in order to redress the deficiency of traditional teaching model which cannot well improve practical ability and accumulate effectively project experience for software engineering majors. It is applied to the project of College Graduates Employment Information Service Platform of Hebei Province in China. The project consists of three stages, that is, project preparation, project implementation, and project inspection and evaluation. The result is that not only the project completes successfully, but also the college cultivates a lot of excellent graduates adapting to the job well. The practice with good teaching effect verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the actual project driven teaching model.
