Shannon-Fano-Elias coding for Android using Qt

In digital communication systems, coding need to be done so as to transmit the data efficiently. One of the coding type is source coding. Generally while transmitting the data, data compression need to be done by certain encoding logic so as to reduce redundancy, transmission channel capacity, data storage and to increase the speed of transmission. There are many source coding logic to perform the data compression task, one among them is Shannon-Fano-Elias encoding. We also see many smart-phone applications are widely used these days as it comes handy. By utilizing latest tools we can improve the programming ability and attract many towards programming. Thus, we develop this source coding technique as a mobile application with one of the cross-platform application Qt. As by this helps in understanding the coding logic in native language and provides an opportunity for many to find solution to real time problems.
