&NA; Macular hole formation associated with pneumatic retinopexy has been reported previously, but the present authors are unaware of published reports of successful repair of such holes with vitrectomy techniques, despite a computerized literature search and review of the relevant literature.1,2 Nevertheless, various authorities have described successful repair of such holes.3 Herein, we report a case of a fullthickness macular hole associated with pneumatic retinopexy successfully repaired by vitrectomy and fluid‐gas exchange.
