Provided in the present invention is a parity information-based method for exchanging related personal information via a network. In the present invention, an encoded image is first provided by a contact, parity information is then acquired from the encoded image by a requester, and then request information comprising the parity information is transmitted to a network device, when the request information is received by the network device, a query is performed in an information base having stored therein multiple pieces of parity information and multiple pieces of related personal information of a contact corresponding respectively to one piece of parity information, and the related personal information of the contact corresponding to the parity information identical to the parity information from the requester device is transmitted to the requester device, and the related personal information of the requester in the information base is provided to the contact corresponding to the parity information identical to the parity information from the requester device. This allows for exchange of the related personal information.
