Generating correlated Nakagami fading channels

We present a method to simulate Nakagami m-distributed fading channels. The method uses a zero memory nonlinear, zmnl, to map the amplitude of correlated complex Gaussian sequences to Nakagami m-distributed sequences. The method permits correlation both in time and between different ray paths. To model the two-dimensional fading process we assume the fading process behaves according to a p-th order autoregressive model. The AR coefficients are obtained by solving a system of Yule-Walker equations while compensating for the effects of the zmnl on the correlation.
