Measurement of the Rate of Increase of Neutrino Cross Sections with Energy

The energy dependence of the cross section for neutrino- and antineutrino-nucleon charged current interactions has been determined from data taken in Fermilab's dichromatic neutrino beam. sigma/sup ..nu..//E = (0.669 +- 0.003 +- 0.024) x 10/sup -38/ cm/sup 2//GeV and sigma/sup nu-bar//E = (0.340 +- 0.003 +- 0.02) x 10/sup -38/ cm/sup 2//GeV are found. These results are higher than some previous measurements.
