Study on the drought monitoring using vegetation leaf water in China

This paper studies the GVMI index model using the MODIS data to get the EWT (Equivalent Water Thickness) index which expressed the water content of vegetation, and verifies the correlation between water content of vegetation and state of drought with temperature and rainfall data reported by CMA (China Meteorological Administration).
