The dependence of output rate on die shape during catalyst extrusion

Abstract The relations between pressure gradient and volume output rate during the extrusion of catalyst pastes through conical dies are discussed. Results are presented to show that the flow through conical dies can be described by the same mechanisms as previously found applicable to flow through dies of uniform cross section.
