Ripple analysis of interleaved soft switching boost converter for photovoltaic applications

In this paper, a soft switching interleaved boost converter for photovoltaic power generation system is proposed. It is a topology, which raises efficiency for DC-DC converter of photovoltaic PCS(Power Conditioning System). And it minimizes switching losses, input current ripple and output voltage ripple by adopting soft switching method using resonance. The detailed mode analysis of proposed topology is presented. The feasibility of proposed topology is experimentally verified on a 3.3 [kW] prototype.
