The thermal characteristics analysis of mill head of CNC machine in ANSYS

In the procedure of machining by modern CNC machine,the case of mill head in CNC milling machine produces thermal deformation.This deformation affects the accuracy of spindle drive,and influences the machining accuracy of the part.A three-dimensional model of case of mill head was estab-lished with Pro/E software.The case will be calculated thermal deformation dimension using finite-element analysis method.Weakness will be fixed by ANSYS.This research provides the theoretical fundamentals for improving case appearance.
