A metasurface isoflux antenna and potential beam reconfigurability

Artificial surfaces for antenna applications are discussed. The paper is focused on antennas for LEO satellite application and a circularly polarized isoflux shaped beam antenna based on metasurface is presented with numerical results. Potentialities of application of the metasurfing concept to reconfigurable surfaces are also discussed.
