A novel tree based data gathering protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

In this paper, we proposed a novel Backbone tree topology for the data gathering in Wireless Sensor Networks. By integrate the ideas of both linear chain and tree topology, the new Backbone tree topology obtains quicker network responding speed and longer lifetime results.
