An experimental description of the response of paper

Abstract This work presents a complete test methodology for the testing of paper and other thin materials with the special requirements for constitutive modelling in mind. It also presents results obtained using these test regimes and speculates about what they reveal about paper. Specifically that paper seems to exhibit ‘over stress’ phenomenon.
