Guidelines for training, credentialing, and maintenance of competence for the performance of coronary angioplasty: a report from the Interventional Cardiology Committee and the Training Program Standards Committee of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.

This report suggests updated guidelines for training, credentialing, and maintenance of proficiency in coronary angioplasty and for the newer, more advanced interventional techniques; and recommends establishment of a subspecialty examination for certification of special competencies in international cardiology.© 1993 Wiiey-Liss, Inc.
