Apparatus, method and computer readable recording medium of creating and playing a live picture file

The present invention relates to an apparatus which outputs related audio when playing an image file. The apparatus comprises an audio editing unit which generates edited audio data by editing audio data having a certain playing time; and an encoding unit which generates a live picture file by encoding the image data and the audio data edited by the audio editing unit. The live picture file includes an image data area including the image data; an additional data header unit including information about additional data including the audio data; and an audio data area including the edited audio data.
