Higher order Bézier circles

Abstract In the paper, it is proved that the order of the Bezier curves forming a full circle must be at least 6 for the curves to have all positive weights. Cubic Bezier curves that are circular arcs are also studied, and the control points for all such curves are derived. Some geometric properties of these curves are discussed.
