MaRX: An Approach to Genetics in Mammalian Cells

In this Tech.View, David Beach and his colleagues describe a new, widely applicable genetic method for analysis of gene function in mammalian cells. This MaRX system allows the inhibition of specified genes (effectively producing a null phenotype) and the subsequent analysis of the phenotype.
