A survey of maintenance and replacement models for maintainability and reliability of multi-item systems

The work on policies for maintenance and replacement of deteriorating items has recently been extended to consider systems comprised of several items which are dependent on one another. This dependency can be economic, structural and/or failure related. This survey describes some of the models that have been suggested for such systems and the maintenance and replacement policies for their operation which such models propose.
