Development of a Hardware-Software Complex for Automatic Registration and Analysis of Vehicle Motion Parameters

Development of a hardware-software complex for automatic registration and analysis of vehicle motion parameters.According to the current observations, the passenger traffic keeps increasing annually. Therefore, the road safety is needed to be provided at the decent level. The solution may be represented as an electronic device allowing to record the vehicle's movement parameters and the driving style. It is assumed that the proper use of the information received by an owner of the vehicles fleet can help him encourage drivers to keep the vehicles safe in different dangerous situations. This electronic device is provided with an onboard navigation equipment which uses an accelerometer and GPS data. However, the use of some other MEMS sensors in conjunction with the data of GLONASS / GPS would produce registering an extended list of dynamic parameters of transport and reduce the influence of interference. The presented article is devoted to a more detailed overview of the solution to the problem, the structure of the prototype device and spheres of use device.
