GOPA: A radiation hardened GNSS baseband asic for GNOS series

GOPA is a radiation hardened GNSS baseband ASIC produced on the 65 nm 7-layer metal process technology. GOPA is capable of processing signals from GPS and BDS. A lot of lab tests had been carried out after tape-out of GOPA. The experiment results showed that the performances of GOPA were in good agreement with the design goals, the TID, SEL and SEU of the ASIC fulfilled the design requirements. GOPA will be used in the following GNOS series. The first flight of GOPA on GNOS series will be in 2018.
