Three-dimensional and Non-isothermal Numerical Simulation of Paratactic Element in Non-intermeshing Twin Screw

Three-dimensional flow field analysis of non-meshing twin screw extruder was analyzed by means of ANSYS, and the rules of velocity field, pressure field, temperature field and characteristic curve were given The numerical results showed that the material had large gradients of pressure and velocity at the screw edge region In intermeshing region, the temperature of the material was high, and cooling step should be put in practice The flow rate was proportional to the screw speed and inverse ratio to pressure gradient
