A Prototype of Smart Parts Supporting Electrical Experiments at School

Smart Parts (SP) proposed in this study is a novel hardware tool for electrical circuit experiments at primary, middle and high schools. SP can be “transformed” into any electrical part, instrument, or DC/AC power supply. With conventional electrical circuit experiments at schools, it is difficult for the teacher in a large classroom to check whether each student is creating unsafe circuits, such as with a short circuit. In this study, we propose the SP method to solve this problem, implement a prototype, and conduct simple experiments.
