USER PERSPECTIVES ON THE USE OF URBAN TRANSPORTATION RESEARCH

This article analyzes needs of users for urban transportation research. The analysis represents one component of a U. S. Department of Transportation funded project to identify problems in the dissemination and implementation of innovative ideas in urban transportation planning and means to deal with those problems. This study also examines barriers to the innovative use of computers in urban transportation.
