Towards on-chip, tunable X-ray sources based on graphene plasmons

Leveraging the high field confinement of graphene plasmons enables the creation of table-top and chip-scale sources of intense, monochromatic, directional and robustly tunable free-electron sources from the IR to hard X-ray regime.
