Coordination Principles of Satisficing Decisions

Satisficing decision problems have been investigated in several forms, for example, by verbal and qualitative descriptions by Bonini [3], Cyert and March [5], March and Simon [9]], and Simon [18 19]; simulation study by Bonini [3]; chance-constrained programming by Charnes and Cooper [4]; goal programming by Ijiri [7]; and mathematical study of satisfactory control by Mesarovic et al. [17], and Takahara and Mesarovic [20]. The satisficing decision criterion was formulated by Matsuda and Takatsu [11-13] and Takatsu [21,22].
