An Information Fusion Model for Hazardous Chemicals Transportation Monitoring System

A real-time,multi-parameter transportation equipment monitoring system was designed to trace the full transporting process of hazardous chemicals.Based on this system,an information fusion model for hazardous chemicals transportation monitoring system was built up.This model comprehensively uses the detected multiple parameter information,danger warning block and database management system to automatically analyze the detected data through four levels' information fusion technology including data preprocessing,feature extracting and state judging,situation judging,dangerous situation estimating and forecasting,and ultimately achieves the aim of classifying,grading and delaminating the warning of hazardous chemical transportation safety.Several information fusion algorithms were discussed based on the model,and corresponding software was designed and applied to the experimentation of the constructed hazardous chemical transportation monitoring system,such as liquefied petroleum gas.Results demonstrate the proposed information fusion model is effective.
