Book Review: Research - Science and Technology

The early part of the book leads up to elementary coding through a description of octal and binary number systems and machine organization, i.e. storage registers, floating point and integer numbers, instruction representation, central control and accumulator registers. This is followed by a more detailed description of arithmetic operations both fixed and floating point and scaling. Control and logical type instructions are also described.
