Applying Systems Engineering to VLSI Design

This paper explores the usefulness of the disciplined Systems Engineering approach to the intricate and complicated science of VLSI design. The basics of Systems Engineering are reviewed and several recently published VLSI papers are evaluated and measured as to their use of this approach.
