Study of Hybrid Shunt Active Power Filter

In order to realize the functions of harmonic compensation and voltage regulation for nonlinear loads,a hybrid shunt active power filter is proposed. System stability and harmonic compensation effect are taken into comprehensive consideration and a control strategy of feedback with feedforward is implemented. The system compensation characteristics are compared. Also discussed is the capacitive and inductive passive compensation. The simulation and test results verify the efficiency of the hybrid shunt active power filter.
