Analog multiplication and division scheme based on D/A converters

A novel method of analog multiplication and division of voltage signals is presented. Based on two multiplying D/A converters, it offers a different approach to the problem of low frequency analog signal processing. The proposed circuit configuration provides the quotient of two voltage inputs as a digital number and then a voltage output equal to the product of this number with another input voltage. Experimental tests of a prototype supporting overall circuit and performance analysis are included.<<ETX>>
