A real-time electronic fence monitoring algorithm based on Baidu maps

This paper proposes a real-time location annotation and border crossing warning for the electronic fence monitoring algorithm with the Baidu Maps API. Compared with the traditional ray algorithm, the proposed algorithm firstly preprocesses the electronic fence and maps the area of the polygons on the electronic map through the Baidu Maps API to set up a Cartesian rectangular coordinate system and calculate the minimum circumscribed rectangle. Then, the proposed algorithm shows early warning information for the points outside the fence through the analysis of the target monitoring object and the topological relationship of the polygon area. The simulation result in the MATLAB shows the algorithm is fast and accurate. Besides that, the proposal also works well in dynamic target monitoring and regional early warning.
