FPGA 기반 인공위성 온보드 컴퓨터 개발

Recently, SRAM-based FPGAs are increasingly used in the space application such as a satellite. In this paper, we developed a FPGA-based satellite on-board computer that consists of LEON3 processor, AMBA bus, memory controller with EDAC, other peripherals and RTEMS operating system. We tested our system with the LEON3 monitoring program. we applied a TMR scheme to the system in order to reduce system faults by SEU effect, and performed an experiment with TMR scheme that is applied on sub systems or whole system in order to know the appropriate operating frequency under the constraints on the total area.
