BLUE BOX: a system for long term unattended environmental monitoring of marine basins-prototype architecture and test results

BLUE BOX is a system designed for unattended measurement of surface water parameters from vessels underway. The article presents the innovative architecture of the system, that allow long term autonomous collection of data with high level of reliability and stability. The results of the prototype tests are described as well.
