PROTEUS: A COMPUTER CODE TO EXTEND THE BURNUP DATA FROM A POINT BURNUP CODE.

A computer code named PROTEUS has been developed to modify and extend data produced by the r eac to r fuel burnup code ALTHAEA in i t s ze ro dimensional mode. PROTEUS simulates ei ther batch o r graded fueling, prepares a table of maximumto-minimum ra t ios of fuel specific power at constant flux, and calculates analytical curve fits of isotopic concentrations versus burnup.
