The study will be presented the results of studies, including a comparative analysis of selected parameters of spatial formation of parcels received two independent methods for the same area. The first widely used in the study of the spatial structure, requiring the use material for the data to be included in the descriptive part of the cadastre of real estate and the numerical map of the land and buildings. The basic element of the research will be a continuous part of the parcels covered by one form of use. Detailed analysis will focus on determining the scale differences for the studied parameters in both variants methodical. Consequently, this will determine the possibility of interchangeability of the two methods in the work related to the assessment of rural land systems. DOI: https://doi.org/10.3846/enviro.2017.192
