This study was conducted to describe the theoretical approaches of Information and Communication Technology(ICT) in Industrial Technology in Practical Arts subject and to provide the direction of the approaches. Based on literature review, two approaches were identified. One was ICT as an organizer of Industrial Technology. The other was ICT as teaching strategy to infuse the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities in Industrial Technology. Some suggestions were made for utilization of the approaches. As a content of Industrial Technology, ICT was required to focus on the following four concerns. First, ICT Education should be kept on the part of Practical Arts subject. Second, ICT needs to be reorganized in terms of the study of Technology. Third, technological and systematic approaches of ICT including other organizers in Technology were recommended. Fourth, ICT Education in elementary program should be backed up to the one in secondary program. As a teaching strategy, the utilization of ICT was required to consider the followings. First, the utilization of computer in learning and teaching activities should be done via on-line rather than off-line. Second, ICT should be used to improve the quality of teaching and learning. The positive effects of ICT would increase literacy on ICT as well as improve students' creativity, problem-solving ability, and cooperation.
