Web-Based Detection of Music Band Members and Line-Up

We present first steps towards the automatic detection of music band members and instrumentation using web content mining techniques. To this end, we combine a named entitydetectionmethodwithrule-basedlinguistictextanalysis. We report on preliminary evaluation results and discuss limitations of the current method.
