The Application of TEM to Detecting Coal Mining Goaf

Starting from the dangers of coal mining goaf and the practical significance of detection,this paper introduces the principle of TEM detection and the application status of detecting coal mining goafs.According to the sorts of goafs which are found in the production and general electrical abnormalities,we categorize the coal mining goafs,and summarize the general methods of goaf positioning interpretation.We also offer examples to prove practicality and effectiveness of the methods.The paper is aimed at providing guidance for detecting coal mining goafs in future.
