Air-Fuel Ratio Control Using H_∞ Theory on a Gaseous-Fuel Engine

In order to inhibit outside disturbances and improve control accuracy of air-fuel ratio(AFR),this paper introduces a theory for air-fuel ratio control on a gaseous-fuel engine.A controller for air-fuel ratio control is designed on the basis of mathematical model of the engine system.Then,simulation and experimental testing are executed with the designed controller.Simulation and experimental results show that the designed controller enhances the performance of tracking,robust stability and the ability of disturbance rejection effectively,and improves control accuracy of AFR under steady working condition and transient working condition.
