Design and Implementation of a Hybrid Power Plant Controller Alin

This paper presents the development of a controller, used to steer renewable hybrid power plants, consisting of wind power plants (WPP), solar power plants (SPP) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) with the aim to facilitate the integration of new generating/storage units to existing sites. A simulation environment in Matlab/Simulink is used to show how the controller distributes external commands for curtailments to the different components through a dispatch function.
