Factors Facilitating the Emergence of Overactive Bladder in Adults With Childhood Voiding Disorder

Amac : Asiri aktif mesane (AAM) ve cocukluk cagi iseme bozukluklari onemli ve sik rastlanilan saglik sorunlaridir. Literaturde cocukluk cagi iseme bozukluklarinin eriskin cagda AAM icin onemli bir risk faktoru oldugu gosterilmistir. Biz de cocukluk caginda iseme bozuklugu ile yetiskin cag AAM gelisimi arasinda bir iliski olup olmadigini ve bu iliskide etkili olabilecek ikinci etkenleri ortaya koymayi amacladik. Gerec ve Yontemler : Cocukluk caginda iseme bozuklugu gorulen 144 hasta calismaya dahil edildi. Hastalar eriskin donemde AAM gorulenler (1. Grup) ve gorulmeyenler (2. Grup) olarak 2 gruba ayrildi. Tum hastalara demografik bilgilerini, yeme icme aliskanliklarini sorgulayan anket formu uygulandi. Bulgular : 1. grupta 44 kadin (%59,5), 30 erkek (%39,5) dahil edildi. 2. grupta 31 kadin (% 44,3), 39 erkek (% 55,7) vardi. 1. Grup Vucut kitle indeksi ortalamasi (26.0±5.2) 2. gruptan (24.4±3.4) yuksek bulundu. (p=0.034). Gruplar arasinda yeme icme aliskanliklarindan gunluk su, cay ve kahve tuketimi arasindan fark yoktu. Aci tuketiminin ise 1. Grubun 2. Gruptan anlamli olarak yuksek oldugu saptandi (p=0.003). Sigara tuketimi acisindan gruplar arasinda anlamli fark saptanmadi (p=0.796). Alkol tuketimi 1. Grupta fazla olmakla birlikte istatiksel anlamli fark saptanmadi (p=0,591). Sonuc : Cocukluk caginda iseme bozuklugu olan hastalarda eriskin cagda AAM icin risk faktorleri olarak obezite ve aci yiyecek tuketimi olabilecegini ortaya koyduk. Daha buyuk hasta gruplari ile yapilacak prospektif calismalar ile bu risk faktorleri ve etiyolojide yer alabilecek farkli risk faktorlerinin belirlenebilegini dusunmekteyiz.
