An apparatus which is applied to the experiment on magnetic screening has been completed and preliminary tests have been carried out on several samples of Nb-Ti and Nb-Ti soldered with a copper plate in a strong magnetic field. From the experiment, it was prospected that multilayer of Nb-Ti plate could be applied to our electromagnetic thrust ship in order to prevent magnetic flux going out to general area. In this paper, we show the apparatus and preliminary experimental results on Nb-Ti screening plates.
