GSA based optimal capacity configuration of wind-solar-storage system in microgrid

For the poor operation reliability and low economic benefit of wind-photovoltaic generation system in microgrid, an optimal capacity configuration method based on gravitational search algorithm (GSA) is proposed in this paper, to increase reliability and economic benefits of combined wind-solar-storage system in microgrid. Based on power output models of different types of renewable power resources, an optimal mathematical model is established with multiple objective functions of minimal costs, energy wastage rate and loss of power supply probability. The concept of GSA is introduced and specific steps of solving this problem is explained. Eventually, a case studied is discussed and analyzed to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed method.
