A semi‐smooth NEWTON method for dynamic multifield plasticity

In the present paper a multifield approach towards isotropic dynamic small strain elastoplasticity is depicted. Its solution procedure is based on a semi‐smooth NEWTON method coupled to a higher order accurate time integration scheme in the context of the finite element method.
